We are honored to bring the wonderful sacred music of Bach, Handel, Pergolesi, and Mozart as well as spirituals and sacred songs to the National Shrine of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini. Its the perfect place for this concert. The beauty and acoustics of this place will make the music come alive with the excellent singers from the studio of Janice Pantazelos.

Come join the singers from the well renowned Chicago Studio of Professional Singing and enjoy some of the wonderful songs from the 1960s. CSPS presented "A Tribute to Tin Pan Alley"on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at 7:30 PM at Mayne Stage, 1328 W Morse Avenue in Chicago. CSPS presented "Opera Gala 2006 - A Concert of Favorite Opera Arias"on Sunday, November 5, 2006 at 5:00 PM at St. Edwards Church, 4350 W. Sunnyside. CSPS singers performed under the direction of Janice Pantazelos.


CSPS presented "A Night to Remember"on Monday, August 28, 2006 at 7:00 PM at Davenport's Cabaret, 1383 N. Milwaukee Ave. This was our fifth appearance there and all performances have been sold out. All singers are under the tutelage of Janice Pantazelos, Director of CSPS. Accompanist: Chuck Larkin.


CSPS presented "Summer Vignettes"on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at 7:00 PM at Wilmette Community Theatre, 3000 Glenview Road. Tickets were $15. There were more than 18 scenes from popular operas and musical theatre performed by CSPS singers. Accompanist was George Tenegal. This show featured both professional equity theatre singers and opera singers as well as upcoming professionals.

This concert is in memory of Monique Honore-Robertson.

CSPS presented "Musical Theatre New Talent Showcase"on Friday, July 23, 2004 at 12:15 PM at Harold Washington Library Center Auditorium (Lower Level) at 400 S. State Street. A 90-minute presentation of selections from the greatest shows in Musical Theatre history as performed by students from the Chicago Studio of Professional Singing under the direction and with commentary by CSPS founder and director Janice Pantazelos. This was a FREE PROGRAM presented by the Musical Information Center at the Chicago Public Library.


CSPS presented "Come to the Cabaret"on Sunday, June 13, 2004 at 7:00 PM at Davenport's Cabaret, 1383 N. Milwaukee in Chicago. A second performance was held June 27, 2004. CSPS presented two special evenings of jazz, blues, pops, show tunes and world music as performed by the CSPS Singers under the direction of Janice Pantazelos. Chuck Larkin was the pianist.


CSPS presented "Great Duets (Opera, Musical Theatre, and More)"on Sunday, May 23, 2004 at 7:00 PM at Wilmette Recreation Center Auditorium, 3000 Glenview Road in Wilmette. CSPS Singers performed great duets from famous operas and musicals. AIDA, CARMEN, RIGOLETTO, LA TRAVIATA, MADAMA BUTTERFLY, DON GIOVANNI, CALL ME MADAM, MISS SAIGON, JEKYLL AND HYDE, THE MAGIC FLUTE, and many more.
