International Summer Program: “OperaNow!”

II Edition - Rome, Italy

OperaNow! is an international residency program, designed for talented young opera singers who are at the beginning stage of their professional careers. Program also includes training for orchestral musicians, chorus singers and piano accompanists. The focus of the program is on training through performance, and it is distinguished from many other young artist program in the quality and variety of performance opportunities it provides its participants, for its specific focus on Chamber Opera repertoire.

The Lab language is English.

Levi Kreis

Levi Kreis returns to Chicago from his Tony Award winning performance on Broadway at the Apollo Theatre on November 1, 2010 at 7:30. "Where I Belong" features another CSPS Singer Jason Antone.
Levi is currently promoting his new album in California

Congratulations to:

AnnaMaria Cardinalli, who will be performing the role of "La Principessa" in Suor Angelica at the Opera Lyrica/Tuscany Festival in Viterbo, Italy.

Samantha Farmilant who will be performing the role of "Sister Genovesa" in Suor Angelica, also at the Opera Lyrica/Tuscany Festival in Viterbo, Italy.

Lela Philbrook, who will be performing the role of "La Contessa" in Le Nozze di Figaro at Opera Lyrica/Tuscany Festival in Viterbo, Italy.

Tina Pearsall and Grace Meridan who will be performing "Suor Cercatrice" and "Le Novice" in Suor Angelica at Opera Lyrica/Tuscany Festival in Viterbo, Italy.

Wow! What a wonderful accomplishment for CSPS singers who will all be making their debuts in these roles!

Lisa McClowry

for being “Nominated International Vocalist of the Year 2011 Wave Awards”.
