CSPS singer Rosalind Hurwitz will be playing the role of Margaret in the Southland Area Theatre Ensemble's production of The Light in the Piazza February 13th, and 14th at 7:30pm and February 15th at 2pm at the Center for Performing Arts at Governors State University.

CSPS jazz singer, Sam Fazio, can be seen October 25 performing in Manhattan at 54 Below.

He will also be performing at the Somethin' Jazz Club on October 26, Le Cirque Restaurant on October 27, and The Flatiron Room on October 28.

CSPS singer Dan Grambow will be performing the role of Rasmus in Nielson's Maskarade at the Vittum Theater.

Maskarade is an opera in three acts by Carl Nielsen, based on the 1724 comedy by Ludvig Holberg. Known as the Danish national opera, this light-hearted comedy centers on the titular masquerade, a place where all may abandon the constraints of their rigid society, experiencing instead the Enlightenment ideals of liberty and equality.

CSPS Singer Rosalind Hurwitz will be playing Lilli in Music in the Air at Lake Geneva’s Music by the Lake. This revival of the 1932 musical includes the lush orchestral arrangements of Robert Russell Bennet, with score by Jerome Kern and book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II. Only two performances: Saturday July 21 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday July 22 at 4:00 p.m. Visit Music by the Lake for more information and tickets.

CSPS singer Amanda Hartley will be singing with a fabulous group of performers this summer in Some Enchanted Evening at Fox Valley Rep. Directed by the multi-Jeff award winning director, Fred Anzevino and produced with Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre, which set the standard for Cabaret shows in Chicago. This is a remount of last year's production which played the No Exit Cafe and Theatre on the Lake.

CSPS singers Samantha Farmilant will have her junior recital on Saturday, August 14, 2010. It will take place in the Fine Arts Building, 410 S Michigan Avenue in Salon 412. She will perform in Latin, Italian, French and English art songs and arias.

CSPS singers Melanie Davis and Lela Philbrook gave a "joint" recital at Indian Boundary recital hall. They each performed Italian, English and German art songs and arias which were enthusiastically received by the full house audience. Congratulations to both of them. This was part of their 3rd year requirements as aspiring professional singers for CSPS.

Ceremonial Wedding singer Leslie Haas was the guest performer for the Chicago Wedding Gala held at the Civic Opera House.

Regina Webster

The Chinese Fine Arts Society presented a musical concert "Journey Through the Silk Road from the Eyes of the Great Wall" at Sherwood Conservatory. CSPS mezzo-soprano Regina Webster was the featured vocalist, singing "On the Way," trio for mezzo-soprano, piano & cello composed by Victoria Bond.

On Saturday, February 24, 2007 CSPS singers: Joe Freer, John Kladis, Stuart Bard, Lela Philbrook, Megan Simmons, Cecilia Anderson and Lindy Thomas performed "Croonin for Coolies," benefit concert at the Oak Brook Renaissance for blood diseases: Coolies Anemia and Thalassemia, presented by the Ahepa foundation. The program included favorite songs from the original "Rat Pack," Tony Bennett, and the Andrews Sisters.
